Celebrating Community, Culture and Connection at San Antonio da Padova Nursing Home Festa 🇮🇹

There’s something incredibly special about community events that bring together generations, cultures, and shared stories — and the San Antonio da Padova Nursing Home Festa was exactly that and so much more!

On a beautiful day filled with sunshine and smiles, Business With A Heart had the honour of attending this vibrant annual celebration alongside our beloved Wonder Bear and the incredible Rose Bartolotta, whose passion for people and community shines wherever she goes. Together, we joined residents, families, carers, children, volunteers, and local businesses for a day that was nothing short of magical.

The event was alive with the unmistakable energy of Italian culture from traditional food, amazing coffee, laughter and dancing. It was a beautiful opportunity for generations to connect, appreciate their heritage, and celebrate life together🇮🇹

Wonder Bear was a crowd favourite, bringing joy and playful energy to everyone they met. Whether it was dancing with the kids, sharing hugs with residents, or simply posing for photos, Wonder Bear reminded us all how powerful joy and presence can be🧸

What made the festa truly stand out was the strong sense of community spirit. Local businesses generously donated their time and goods, and volunteers worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everyone felt welcome and celebrated. There was a beautiful balance of fun, family, culture, and connection — a perfect reflection of the heart of this nursing home and its surrounding community.

At Business With A Heart, our mission has always been to bring comfort, joy, and a sense of togetherness — especially to vulnerable communities. Events like this reaffirm why we do what we do. Seeing smiles on the faces of elderly residents as they danced, laughed, and engaged with young children (and bears!) was a beautiful reminder that joy is ageless, and that community care truly matters.

We extend a heartfelt thank you to the San Antonio da Padova team for inviting us to be part of such a meaningful celebration. And thank you to every business, volunteer, and community member who helped make the day so special.
